Guoiones is being attacked by grommits. It seems to be an air strike or something. Chest high and onshore winds early morning making it perfect for the little boogers to launch into outerspace, while making the rest of us feel like boggie boarders. Oh well, It’s so nice to see young talent in the water. I am not of a competitive nature but I do enjoy seeing the kids get stoked on contest and how the levels of surfing progress the days prior to the event. Look for improving condtions into the contest tomorrow and be sure to check it out. If you want one of our 3 photographers to cover the event please let us know prior to your heat so we won’t miss it. firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on the beach.
With that said we are sad to say NosaraShack.com will go offline permanently starting next week. It’s been a good two years run for us but we simply cannot continue to pay server fees, photographers, and staff as well as make a substantial living in this area. NosaraShack.com has been bought out by a housing development company from Canada who will turn it into another Real Estate/Surf site. We are expecting them to still do daily photos but that will be up to them. I’m pretty sure they will turn it into everything we ever aspired to be and more. Thanks again to everyone for all of the support of the past two years…~graham
APRIL FOOLS 🙂 Our site cost 9$ a year including webhosting and our staff works as freelance getting %100 percent of their work so we’re not going anywhere![nggallery id=141]
