May 16 “OMG LIKE WTF is going on with the waves?”

They are calling for a bump in conditions tomorrow and a good size swell into Wednesday and boy it’s been taking it’s time getting here. Waist high and light onshore winds making for below average conditions here in Playa GUiones.  Last season May was the biggest month of the year. This season May has been the smallest month of the year so far this is including Jan/Feb which are generally smaller due to winter swells and offshores.

Alfredo and Matt took photos today. Check out Matt’s work at Kaya Sol 8-10 daily or online via the find your surf photos link at the top of the page. Thanks everyone for all of the support! Enjoy the week! ~graham
